AuthorityGate Application Services
This service supports two AuthorityGate applications: license delivery for HealthCheckPS1 and transparent, non-licensing installation registration for RackSight.
HealthCheckPS1 licensing
AuthorityGate PSO clients receive a license at no cost. All other commercial users contact [email protected].
- Launch HealthCheckPS1 on the machine you intend to scan from.
- The first-run wizard collects email, customer engagement, doc author, company, and computes the machine fingerprint automatically.
- The tool opens this site at
/requestwith every field pre-filled. You review and click Submit. - The license token is emailed directly to you.
- Paste the token into the tool. Valid 72 hours, that machine only.
RackSight installation registration
RackSight is a local-first Redfish hardware monitoring and alerting application for Windows and Node.js. It monitors server health, inventory, CPU and memory metrics when available, temperatures, fans, historical telemetry, and sustained-temperature alerts.
What setup sends
- The email address entered during Windows setup
- The installing computer's fully qualified domain name
- The installed RackSight application version
What registration does not do
- No license key or product activation
- No feature, time, machine, or usage restriction
- No ongoing connection or telemetry upload
Setup makes one best-effort registration attempt. If this service is offline, unreachable, or blocked, installation continues normally and RackSight remains fully functional. BMC credentials, monitored-server details, sensor readings, alert history, and SMTP settings stay on the RackSight host and are not included in installation registration.
